About BAP America

Build • Accelerate • Pivot

From Break Addiction Partnership to Brilliant Aeronautical Program

BAP America began as the Break Addiction Partnership — a mission dedicated to rebuilding lives through discipline, mentorship, and purpose. Founded by Dan McQueen, a Navy SAR Rescue Swimmer, engineer, martial artist, and mentor, the organization’s early work focused on helping veterans, families, and young adults find new direction through education and community engagement.

Today, BAP has evolved into a bold national initiative — Build • Accelerate • Pivot — combining aerospace, film, technology, and human development. Through the Brilliant Aeronautical Program, we’re training a new generation of innovators, storytellers, and leaders who can build both machines and meaningful lives.

Our Vision

To merge the disciplines of Film, Flight, and Fitness into a living ecosystem that educates, inspires, and connects people through purpose and technology.

Film & Storytelling

We produce media that uplifts communities, honors veterans, and shares the journey of human transformation through the Danny McQ universe and McQueen Entertainment Studios.

Flight & Innovation

Through the Brilliant Aeronautical Program and MITI Skyport initiatives, students learn drone flight, VTOL design, and AAM entrepreneurship — connecting South Texas to the aerospace future.

Fitness & Discipline

Rooted in the martial arts and Navy values of service and endurance, BAP programs teach physical and mental strength as the foundation of leadership and innovation.

Dan McQueen

Our Founder

Dan McQueen is a U.S. Navy SAR veteran, engineer, author, and mentor whose life embodies the BAP principles of discipline, service, and innovation. From working on Air Force One and Marine Ospreys to writing the Danny McQ novels, his mission has always been to build systems — and people — that soar.

“BAP is not just about fixing lives; it’s about creating lift — helping people rise beyond what they believed possible.”

Outreach & Education

Our outreach programs bring STEM, drone technology, and leadership training to schools, shelters, and veteran communities across Texas. From Grampy Book tours to STEM flight demos, we show young people how curiosity, courage, and creativity can change the course of a life.

Grampy Books

Children’s and family stories that teach kindness, courage, and imagination — distributed through schools and community partners.

STEM & Flight Workshops

Hands-on drone and engineering lessons designed to inspire students to pursue careers in aerospace, AI, and sustainability.

Veteran Mentorship

Training and transition programs for veterans, integrating fitness, leadership, and AAM innovation into new career paths.
